What's On Mornington Peninsula | April 19, 2019

With the Easter long weekend upon us, it's obviously a very Easter focused version of what's on this week! There are so many wonderful activities on the Mornington Peninsula for the entire family, we hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable break.

The Big Goose Easter Scramble Friday 19th to Monday 22nd April 2019 @ The Big Goose 233 Mornington Tyabb Rd, Moorooduc

The Big Goose Easter Scramble is a whole lot of fun for the entire family. The aim of the game is to collect as many plastic Easter eggs as you can until The Easter Bunny rings his bell! Bring your haul to the counting station. Every child takes home a bag of Easter eggs.

Lots of fun and games all Easter long weekend! Easter Activity Zone: Egg and Spoon Races, Potato Sack Races, Giant Foot Darts, Chuck - a - Chook (No animals are harmed in this awesome game), PLUS Find The Golden Egg! 10 Golden Eggs are hidden around the Farm every day, if you are lucky enough to find one you will win a Big Goose plush toy!

Easter Bunny Special Trains @ Mornington Railway 460 Moorooduc Rd, Moorooduc

The Easter Bunny Specials will operate on the following dates of Wednesday's the 10th and 17th, as well as Sunday's 14th and 21st. of April. They are hosting the very popular Easter Bunny coming to say hello to all the children and families that travel over the four dates during the School Holidays.

Some of the fantastic activities during the events are;

Egg decorating.

Jumping Castle.

Mobile Coffee Van

Easter Bunny on the train.

Egg hunt for all travelling children.

Plus there is plenty of Grassed Area for family picnic at Mornington Station, and the Mornington Township Shuttle meets each train (Gold Coin)


Sunday's 14th & 21st April Trains depart Moorooduc Station; 10:30am, 12:00pm, 1:45pm & 3:00pm

Return from Mornington Station; 11:00am, 12:30pm, 2:15pm & 3:30pm

*NOTE: 3:30pm ex Mornington only offers one way travel to complete the day.

Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron Easter Art Show | Saturday 20th to Monday 22nd April 2019 @ Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron, 2900 Point Nepean Road, Blairgowrie

Celebrating its tenth year, the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron Easter Art Show is on once again over the Easter long weekend. Artists from Melbourne, the Mornington and Bellarine Peninsula's will have their finest works exhibited and for sale at the yacht club.

Feature artists this year are It Hao Pheh, Maureen Kirsch and Lawrence Marshall exhibiting, with returning and new artists, in mediums from painting to photography and sculpture. A silent auction runs throughout the duration of the show with lifestyle experiences, products and vouchers from local retailers.

The art show runs throughout the Easter weekend, 10am-5pm, Sat and Sun and 10am-2pm Easter Mon. Entry to the show from Sat - Mon is $5, paid at the door. Visitors are welcome to stay on and enjoy the BYS bistro and deck with stunning views of the bay.

Peninsula Busking Festival and Food Truck Carnivale @ The Briars, 450 Nepean Hwy, Mount Martha | April 20-21, 2019
