Rosebud Kite Festival | Sunday 10 March from 11AM-5PM @ Rosebud Foreshore Jetty Road, Rosebud

 

A flotilla of kites will colour Rosebud's skyline on March 10th, 2019 for the 16th annual Rosebud Kite Festival. The FREE family-friendly event features hundreds of giant and novelty kites taking flight alongside families enjoying their own kite flying excitement.

Set on the beautiful Rosebud Bay Foreshore, the free Festival features kite making workshops, stalls to purchase your own kites, food trucks, live music, roving entertainment, carnival rides, interactive displays and ample picnic space.

91st Red Hill Show | Saturday 9 March from 8:30AM-5PM @ Red Hill Showgrounds 190 Arthurs Seat Rd, Red Hill

 

The Red Hill Showgrounds come alive with the festivities of one the State's most popular agricultural shows. 


Aside from the remarkable array of animals including Clydesdales, Gypsie Cobs, cattle, sheep, alpacas, poultry, minature goats, working dogs and more, we are pleased to announce the 3rd Red Hill Cider Show. The award-winning ciders will be available for Public Tasting. Pavilions will be filled with flowers, fruit, vegetables, cooking, craft, photography and art. 


The countries best to fight it out for a Victorian Title in the woodchop arena.

Mornington Racecourse Market | Sunday 10 March from 9AM-2PM @ Mornington Racecourse 

 

A delightful local market featuring stalls selling items that simply aren't available at retail stores, inspired by each individual artists unique style and story. 

Get inspired by the creatives behind the products, catch up with friends and have a picnic lunch savouring the flavours from around the world or bring the kids down for a play, there truly is something for everyone.

Peninsula Piers and Pinots | Sunday 10 March from 12-3PM @ Flinders Foreshore, Flinders

 

Peninsula Piers and Pinots will be held on 10 March 2019 at Flinders Foreshore from 12-3pm. Around twenty Mornington Peninsula vignerons will showcase maritime cool climate pinots with tastings by the sea in an intimate gathering. Wines will be matched by local restaurants and live music will add to the event which will be at the finish line of the Piers and Pinots Yacht Race.
Entry includes complimentary glass and wine tastings, then purchase wine by the glass or bottle.
