We're halfway through February already! I hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day, for anyone who forgot and has some making up to do, the good news is there's lots happening on the Mornington Peninsula this weekend! Here's our top picks... 

 

The Waterfront Festival | Saturday 16th 11.00am - 10.00pm & Sunday 17th 11.00am - 6.00pm | Pier Promenade, Frankston 

 

Frankston's free summer festival is back and set to be bigger and better than ever as it celebrates 20 years of beachside fun for the whole family. This much-loved community event attracts residents and visitors to the sun-soaked beach at the Frankston Waterfront with two spectacular days of live music, beach and water

sports, market stalls, fireworks, delicious food, wine, cider and craft beer.

Open Air Cinema - The Greatest Showman | 16 February From 7:00 PM | Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron, 2900 Point Nepean Road, Blairgowrie

 

Coming to the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron lawn is a 4m inflatable open air cinema showing 'The Greatest Showman'.

Arrive from 7pm to get comfortable and enjoy a drink and food. The canteen will remain open for snacks and we will also have a popcorn machine. BYO chair/ bean bar/rug. The movie will start after sunset, about 8:30pm.

Adults $15pp, Kids $10pp

Ice Cream Festival | 14 to 24 February 2019 | Mornington Peninsula Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery 45 Cook Street, Flinders

 

Taste your way around the world one ice cream scoop at a time! Join us for 12 days of creamy and dreamy delights inspired by every corner of the globe such as a Champagne Cocktail from France, Matcha Cherry from Japan or a Baklava from Turkey. Ice cream connoisseurs can also Tasting Sessions hosted by ice cream experts to try 12 different worldly flavours. Bookings a must.
