As we say goodbye to January, there's a lot to look forward to in February! We're so fortunate to live on the Mornington Peninsula., there's always something great happening!!! Here's our top picks for the weekend ahead... 

The AGL Peninsula Film Festival | Friday February 1 to Sunday February 3

 

Held in the summer from February 1 to 3, the AGL Peninsula Film Festival is one of Victoria's iconic annual film festivals.

The AGL Peninsula Film Festival Festival launch will feature an Independent Aussie Feature Film, followed by a Q and A at Rosebud Cinema.

On Saturday February 2, Village Green, Rosebud will be hosting between 4:00pm and 10:30pm. Bring a friend, a picnic blanket and watch more than 20 short films on the big screen outdoors. 

The AGL Peninsula Film Festival advises some films may contain coarse language, nudity or sexual references that may offend. Those under 15 years must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

Red Hill Community Market | Saturday 2nd February from 8am to 1pm

@ Red Hill Recreation Reserve 184 Arthurs Seat Road, Red Hill

 

Set in the Mornington Peninsula Hinterland town of Red Hill, this monthly market of over 300 stalls is all about celebrating hand made products. Expect to meet emerging artists, taste test local produce and see one of a kind products. 

Browse the market from 8am. Entry is free. On site parking available, at $5 per car, with proceeds going to the Red Hill Lions Club. 

Musiqua | Sunday 3rd February From 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM @ Hastings Foreshore 

 

Hastings Foreshore Reserve on Sunday 3 February brings a new music, food and wine gathering, Musiqua. Featuring Aussie artists Ella Hooper, Terry Serio & Charlie Owen, The Midwayers, Taylor Piggott and Matilda Pearl this new music event, brought to us by the Peninsula Short Film Festival.

Roll out the picnic rugs and dancing shoes, there's food trucks, wine and craft beer and an afternoon market for this family friendly event.
