School's back for most students on the Mornington Peninsula, but there's still plenty happening in the local area. Here's some of our top picks...
The Phantom of the Opera
Friday 20th - 28th July
@ Frankston Arts Centre
In its thirtieth year of performances worldwide, Andrew Lloyd Webber's modern classic tells the story of the masked figure who lurks beneath the catacombs of the Paris Opera House, exercising a reign of terror over all who inhabit it. He falls madly in love with an innocent young soprano, Christine, and devotes himself to creating a new star by nurturing her extraordinary talents and employing all of the devious methods at his command. PLOS Musical Productions will bring to the stage an enchanting mixture of irresistible story and unforgettable songs including 'Think of Me', 'All I Ask of You', 'Music of the Night', 'Masquerade' and the iconic titular song, 'The Phantom of the Opera'. Come along and enjoy a musical that the whole family will enjoy. Contact the Frankston Arts Centre for bookings and more details.
