March 15, 2018

With a weather forecast that has Saturday predicted to reach 30 degrees and mostly sunny, this weekend is looking like being a great one for getting out in the local Mornington Peninsula community with your friends and family.

Here's a look at our top picks of what's happening in the local area....

Regional Worlds Longest Lunch on the Bay  |  Saturday 16th of March from 12:45pm

Meet MasterChef Finalist & owner of The Grazing Table, Eliza Wilson, who will talk about the menu, her food philosophy and how the sharing of food connects people and communities.

Follow her journey with Brent Love, Head Chef of Searoad Ferries, who together visited farm gates & food producers on both Peninsulas to create the Longest Lunch menu. Meet some of these providores and the reason behind the suggested wines, all sourced from our backyard.

The longest floating lunch will be served in the Lounge Deck with floor-to-ceiling windows offering spectacular views of the bay and coastline as the ship moves between Sorrento and Queenscliff. Enjoy three courses with matching wines while watching the coastline glide by as the ship moves between Sorrento and Queenscliff.
