Red Hill Community Market | Saturday 3rd March 8AM - 1PM

This market has been a favourite since its humble beginnings in 1975. There's a staggering range of hand made goods scattered across the grounds of the local recreation reserve and three sheds. Featuring over 300 stalls of artisan products, the famous Red Hill Community Market is more than just a market. It's a meeting place, a day out, a tasting plate and a shopping experience. Plenty of onsite parking at $4 per car, with proceeds going to the Red Hill Lions Club.

Play On: The art of sport - 10 years of the Basil Sellers Art Prize

Play On: The art of sport is a selection of key works from the Basil Sellers Art Prize, a former biennial exhibition of new commissions that reflect upon sport and sporting culture. One of Australias richest and most prestigious art awards, the Basil Sellers Art Prize inspired innovative and complex explorations of sport from a rollcall of Australia's most accomplished artists. Play On distills the best of these works into an engaging touring exhibition that gives audiences throughout Australia the opportunity to view familiar sporting concepts through a sometimes surprising lens.

Flinders Polo | Sunday 4th March 2018 | Mornington-Flinders Rd, Flinders

Flinders Polo is the creation of the team behind the incredibly successful Portsea Polo. They have been keen to put together a more intimate, sophisticated event for select companies and individuals, and have finally found the perfect venue. Flinders Polo will allow guests to experience a bespoke afternoon of fast paced 20/20 style polo in a traditional picnic setting, hosted at a beautiful 60-acre private property in Flinders. The meticulously manicured polo field is surrounded by Paul Bangay landscaped gardens in the breathtaking surrounds of the Flinders countryside. MC for the day Hamish McLachlan will ensure all guests leave the day as polo aficionados.

Mornington Peninsula Blues Sessions | Saturday March 3 | Peninsula Community Theatre, 91 Wilsons Road, Mornington from 6PM

The seventh of the "Mornington Peninsula Blues Sessions" Summer '18 will be held on Saturday the 3rd of March 2018. It will feature leading Australian Blues artists Lloyd Spiegel, Jimi Hocking, Iseula Hingano and Dan Dinnen. All four artists will play both acoustically and electrically and this format, combined with the intimate environment of the Mornington Peninsula Community Theatre, is sure to produce some special magic from some of Australia's best exponents of Blues and Rock.

Summer '18 will also feature two special guests during the electric second half, with Karl Willibrant on Bass and Tim Burnham on Drums.
