Brewday - Breweries of Mornington Peninsula Bushfire Relief | Friday 28th February 2020 @ 88 Shoreham Rd, Red Hill South

The brewers of the Mornington Peninsula are collaborating to create their version of the Resilience brew at Red Hill Brewery. The brewday is Friday 28th February from 9am, all welcome. The brew will be released in March and will be found at the participating brewers cellar doors and likely a few other special taps around the Mornington Peninsula. Participating in the brewday are Hickinbotham of Dromana, Jetty Road Brewery Red Hill Brewery, Mornington Peninsula Brewery, Smart Brothers Brewing, Dainton Beer, St Andrews Beach Brewery and Cryer Malt. Anyone is welcome to attend and say hi to the brewers during the brewery's opening hours: 11am-7pm.

Parsons & McNeil Concert - Hickinbotham of Dromana

Enjoy a night out and support the Australian Bushfire Relief. Show is $20 per ticket with $10 going to the Bushfire Relief. Hailing from the music Mecca of Melbourne, acclaimed singer songwriters Dan Parsons and Tracy McNeil have joined forces to deliver a stunning festival set of their respective material this summer.

Drawing from Parsons' glorious 'Sunday Morning Cinema' and McNeil's exciting new release 'You Be the Lightning', they captivate audiences through the campfire intimacy of folk storytelling, searing guitar solos of the Cocaine 70's, sweet vocal harmonies and deft musicality with songs written for the here and now. Like witnessing two people slip back into the mother tongue, Parsons and McNeil share a special musical language - it's hard to tell where each artist begins and ends. To celebrate the month of love, the hot springs 'Bathe in Cinema' will be returning to the Bath House Amphitheatre on Friday nights for some special screenings of much loved romantic comedies. Bathe in Cinema will screen on Friday nights from 14th February to 6 March from 8pm. Friday the 28th of February will be showing How to lose a guy in 10 days.

Red Hill Fire Brigade Fundraiser - Community Auction | Friday 21st of February from 3:00 PM @ Many Little 2-5, 159 Shoreham Rd, Red Hill South

Many Little have been working closely with the Red Hill Fire Brigade and volunteers, with the hope to raise at least $125,000 through a major fund raising lunch & auction. These critical funds aim to support the much needed upgrades to our local station and equipment in Mechanics Road, Red Hill. We'd love for you all to join us at the community auction where we will continue to fund raise and listen to our local authorities talk about the community fire safe plans and challenges. Everyone is welcome to join us at this community event. Event Auctioneer : Martin Gallon, another Red Hill local and member of the Red Hill Fire Brigade, previously Managing Director of Sotheby's Australia. Peninsula Bushfire Relief Concert at Southern Peninsula Arts Centre | 21 February 2020, from 7:30 PM @ 245 Eastbourne Road, Rosebud

CHOCOLATE STARFISH will be playing a special bushfire benefit gig at the Southern Peninsula Arts Centre, Rosebud Secondary College, to raise money for communities devastated by the unprecedented fires. In the spirit of giving generously, you can choose your own ticket price, starting at $35. 100% of all ticket sales will be donated to GERF- Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund. The legendary Australian country rock band "Stars" have once again reformed and will present a very special intimate acoustic evening show on February 14, 2020. Newk: The John Newcombe Story | 14 February 2020 from8:00 PM @ Frankston Arts Centre 37 Davey St, Frankston

Set in 2014 at Newk's 70th birthday in Sydney, Newcombe's journey travels from naive 1960s schoolboy, to the No. 1 player in the world in the 1970s, to his time as Davis Cup Captain, to the stroke he suffered in 2003. Performed by Damian Callinan, three time Barry Award nominee and star of recent hit film The Merger, the play portrays a highly determined and ambitious man burning through a quickly changing world. Aware he's putting his family second emotionally while conscious of providing for them financially, the play exposes the exhausting schedules that even players of yesteryear endured. Volatile off-court politics are also rife as the game moves into full blown professionalism. The play also captures hilarious moments from some of Newcombe's numerous commercials and business enterprises: Cinzano, Queensland Bananas and K-Tel tennis instruction albums!
